The Department for Education’s ‘Analyse school performance’ report on the school shows our pupils making average progress in reading, writing and maths but this is also based on small pupil numbers. We depend much more on internal assessment of individual pupils every term, using standardised testing to measure their progress against national averages. This guides our teachers in devising and constantly updating suitable learning goals for each pupil.
